Sexuality is an important component of existence, a basic human need and a non trivial factor in assuring holistic health and wellness. Passion drives all humans. Understanding human sexuality, it's mandates, requisites and preferences is essential to attain fulfilling sexual experiences. Sexuality isn't a taboo as once was deemed. It is a matter of deliberate choice and making the right choice for oneself is always prudent. A blend of the appropriate desire to please and the incessant will to satisfy; over and above the wish to experience pleasure oneself drives the sensual soul. Sex therapy is aimed at increasing personal and interpersonal awareness of self as well as the other's needs. Each participant is encouraged to focus on their own varied sensual experience rather than to see physical satisfaction as the sole goal of a sexual encounters. This enriches the self as well as the relationship.

Not so blessed with intellect
All children are divine gifts from God. How the little
embryo transforms in to the fetus and is delivered from your being into this
universe is a miraculous process. And as much as science has progressed to help
us understand the process, we still don't know things that go on at the back
end before we get the final product in our hands. Some of our children seem to
develop and progress as per the accepted norms and stages that they must
accomplish at times in their development. However, for some reason, some
children lag behind in the same. Some in fact may be faster than their normal
counterparts while others are slower. And at times the slower ones do not have
the ability to catch up. It’s not their fault. It’s simply the way it was
destined for them. These kids who lack the ability to develop in their mind and
their abilities as they are supposed to in keeping with other kids of their
age, have intellectual deficits.

Learn to love thyself
A frequently misapprehended notion, love becomes even more
inscrutable when one delves into its depth. It’s easy to think, say it
aloud and even behave accordingly, when we love our pets and parents and spouse
and job and the smoked cheese pizza from our favorite food joint. No one
questions us on the same; we seldom interrogate ourselves either on why we feel
the way we do about people, objects and ideas. A rarely cogitated zone here is
the love for oneself. Many feel they love themselves enough and are tuned to
altruism, several are so self absorbed that they get adjudged as selfish and
self-centered creatures who love none other themselves, while the truth is that
most are oblivious to the true concept of self love…

The truth about fury
There’s hardly anyone who’s never been angry, not ever
snapped in a fit of rage, a storm of fury or blizzard of wrath. Anger is an
innate human emotion; a response to frustration, stemming from lack of
fulfillment of what one (supposedly) needs, wants or craves. Anger is damaging yet it is ubiquitous. If only we were strong enough to use the RIGHT defenses to shield our shortcomings...

What do we know about love?
What we think we know
A thumping heart, tingling in the stomach, sweaty palms, glistening eyes, a blush, a smile, the feeling of being wanted, an amorous virile sensation of colors seeming effervescent and music more livid; the flow of vitality between two people when they look in the other’s eye, sensuality, triggering the constant thought about ‘the one’; is what poets, writer, and lovers imagine and accept to be ‘LOVE’. Love has often been researched and explored; yet remains an enigma to many.

Sexuality and its problems
Everyone has sexual feelings, attitudes, and beliefs; at the same time, everyone's self-experience of sexuality is unique because of the intense personal perspective involved. Having accurate awareness about healthy sexuality is very important for the nourishment of intimacy between couples. It is also instrumental in promoting sexual satisfaction and enhancing the sensitivity of interpersonal relationships. Sexuality has significant impact on the overall wellness of all people. One needs to get beyond the taboo and accept one's own as well as sexuality of the partner. This mindfulness helps deal with sexual problems in case they ever arise.

Strike! (Not your child; the balance)
Disciplining
is all about your knack at striking that balance between autocracy and
permissiveness with your child. Children need to get the right message so that
they learn the right behaviors. Everyone needs to have these limits set for themselves so they
find direction towards the goals they need to accomplish. The younger your
child, lesser the self-understanding of boundaries, and more defined should be the limits that you set for them. You love your children (everyone usually does) and the virtues you instill in them come with some level of control and authority; levels of which you have to determine as per your own preferences. Boundaries provide security for a child whose exploratory disposition leads her
to explore, but her inexperience may lead her astray. You are the guiding light who knows it all and can direct her.

Making love out of nothing at all
Beautiful and lucid as put
forth by Jim Steinman in Air Supply’s famous song:
‘I know the roads to riches,
I know the ways to pain,
I know all the rules and then I know how to break them, And then I always know the name of the game’
But is it really that lucid? Can we really make love out of nothing at all?

Teen Crisis: My parents embarrass me!
Hey
mom you have no idea what’s ‘cool’ so don’t tell me how to behave in public
Dad
you belong to a different era. Who dresses like that nowadays?
I
don’t want you to be home when my friends come over…just let us be by ourselves
Don’t
hold my hand while crossing the road, I know how to cross the road
myself!
Whatever
happened to wanting your parents to be with you like you used to in childhood?
Mom don’t leave me alone, daddy come with me to my school please, dad I think
you are cool I want to be like you, mommy come with me to my friends birthday…
Today
the same parents embarrass you?
