Out of the box

out of the box
Logic of logic
Logic and reasoning are mandatory for survival. Evolution claims even more. Soundness and rationality are the key ingredients for success. A blend of these enables appropriate judgment, facilitating personal and professional growth. Yet there are times when logic fails, rationality miscarries and prudence misses its mark. These do sound like catastrophic instants; yet there is hope. There emerges that spark of optimism and innovation that allows for solutions which invariably seem like they existed, but were casually overlooked. These are not casual; they supersede commonsense and logic. These involve out of the box thinking.  Lateral thinking will often produce solutions whereby the problem appears as "obvious" in hindsight
Laterality vs. Tangentiality
There’s a thin line between losing the way versus selecting an alternate route through the dark woods. In an attempt to be different, one frequently enough loses focus. Fashion designers habitually innovate, resulting in masterpieces as well as wardrobe fiascos; life however is beyond fashion and triteness. True problem solving abilities ought to be unraveled when challenges seem insurmountable and depths of distress unfathomable. With unswerving focus on the problem it becomes vital to discern and discover solutions that commonly seem to not exist. The light at the end of the tunnel cannot fade; it is what guides and directs the alternative routes to the end point.
Einstellung effect
Learning allows for repetition of behaviors (conditioning) on the basis of previous experience. Conditioning becomes futile when we replicate mistakes of the past, or worse so, refuse to embrace newer ideas owing to inertia and lack of will to change. This subconscious cerebral (of the brain) and attitudinal (of emotion) adamancy is scientifically known as the Einstellung effect. The sensible and easier options are in the face, yet we seek complicated and impossible solutions to problems which need simple Eureka opportunities.
Eureka effect
The Eureka effect is the memorable ‘Aha’ experience by Archimedes. He ran about naked as soon as he realized the law of displacement of water by objects on the basis of their density. This law, that became well known as the Archimedes principle was not experimented or known before. Offering to this ecosphere; something unique and non-existent has repeatedly been deemed as a virtue of actualized souls.  However actualization is a process that is conceived by the innovative mind. One is not born with Nirvana, it is acquired. Pre-destined paths navigate to pre-determined effects. The world loses the prospect of origination while individuals fail to grow in eclecticism. This sphere needs more Eurekas.
Need for insight
Each one faces challenges in the path to goal achievement. Some attain the endpoint with the traditional means, others choose to revolutionize. One typically analyzes the distance from the start line to the goal; if it is evident that this problem needs more than a trite thinking, they seek alternative solutions. At other times one personally paves way for low success probability owing to inappropriate knowledge as they set unnecessary constraints on the current problem. Once these constraints are relaxed, the previously unavailable knowledge gets incorporated into working memory to solve the problem.
Get up and get out
The luxury of living in the box is sinfully soothing. It seems criminal to step out of the comfort zone to try something new even though it would facilitate subjective betterment. One needs a will to want to make that difference. If employees are unhappy, hiking the salary is not as effective as improving the working environment; children don’t need more playtime to behave better; they need parental attention; relationships need a fresh spark to set the fire going; the world needs that metamorphosis. One simply needs to bear with being an unpleasant caterpillar for a while and believe that change can and will be rewarding…
