Energy
A ball of hot plasma interwoven with magnetic fields,
initiating thermonuclear fusion at its core every moment, the sun, by far is
the biggest source of energy for humanity. The vivacity of the universe: algae,
plants, animals, insects, reptiles and human beings; is contingent upon energy offered
by sunlight. There is too much dynamism in this world, energy as we know cannot
be created or destroyed; it only transmutes from one form to the other. Just as
petrol and other fuels offer solar energy that was converted by photosynthesis
in the very distant past; so also there are untapped and unidentified forms of
energy within the neurons of every mind; waiting to be expended, utilized and
suitably exploited. Positively for oneself, if feasible for the betterment of
the sphere too…
You wanted to complete that course in Harvard, buy that whopping
house in New York, own that mammoth company, lose those 25 pounds on your
belly, get healthy, live long, go on that biking trip, marry your sweetheart,
excel in what you are best at, walk on the moon, swim the Atlantic, make a
difference to the world; there is so much that you wanted and still want to do
in life. You know best what it is that YOU want. You must know how you can get
there.
You have a choice
There are always choices. Freedom is in fact legislated. We
ought to use it and make personal selections with intelligent discretion. An
average human being is unaware of the impact of his own imagination. Choices
you make give purpose to your thoughts and actions. They may be wrong on
occasion, but if you haven't erred, you've missed several opportunities to
learn strategies that don't work. Eclectic wisdom is about integrating failure
and success into life's mosaic. It will eventually look stunning. The whole
will always be different from the sum of its individual parts. That is the
saving grace of life.
Recreate fear
If fear of failure truly exists, it should be the sole
motivator driving one incessantly towards success. You cannot want to do
something and consistently be unable to do it. If you will it, it has to
happen. Such is the force of fortitude. However the actuality of half hearted
or avoided attempts lies in the fear of the trepidation that lies in the path
to success. In reality we fear the fear! If only life could assure the gain
without any pain. Sadly and thankfully enough, this world takes before it
gives. The world needs imagination from each one living in it and its
transformation to brighter realities. There is no scope for fear on the path
leading dreams to reality. When the attitude is optimistic, impediments seem
like learning experiences and the voyage becomes fascinating. That's when
recreation becomes re-creation.
The fight
A constant squabble and disagreement within the subconscious
mind, about ones own abilities, prevents one from putting in the right effort
towards the fitting goal. Indeed if one cannot stretch to the grapes at the top
of the vine, one may appease oneself by postulating that they are sour; but one
could also bring a ladder to climb higher and pluck them out. If the grapes are
all you ever coveted, there has to be a way to get to them (that too a a moral,
legal and ethical one)
Cant vs. wont
There is no such thing as can't. Its always won't. Every
time we think we can't take it anymore, we're really substituting the verb
because we don't have the will to do better. Doing things beyond what you
imagined to be your own ability is a good way to surprise yourself. You will be
astounded by your own endurance. Don't do things to prove anything to others.
Do them to convince yourself and once convinced, live your life knowing you are
special. Grow in mind and spirit. The more you ARE as a person the less
you will need to prove yourself to others (least of all to yourself). Integrate
the real and the imagined you, make yourself the best of what you ever wanted
to be…
