Life is neither black nor white. It has a multitude of shades of gray. Yet there’s a possibility of splitting white into beautiful components and getting the apposite colors to make our own rainbow. Moods, mindsets, temperaments, characters and dispositions are usual excuses for accepting and living with inertia. Life deserves more than gray. It’s time to add some color to life!
Red-blue-green-yellow
Colors are really nothing by themselves. They are a reflection of light from one’s own eyes. If we don't have eyes we cannot see colors, yet they exist. Perceptions rule vision. Life is not what it is; it is how you see it. It becomes very important here to get eyes checked for errors (not of refraction as we usually do when we go to get glasses) but those of faulty percepts; and see the colors, appreciate their beauty and take the messages they have to offer.
Add the yellow
The color of the sun is that of energy and life. The yellow of life is the desire to create and innovate. There are enough paths already paved and routes previously carved; yet a fresh new beginning is something one offers not to the world, but to oneself. To make you believe that you have your neurons alive and know that there are always options even though there seem to be none. When you cannot think of options within the box, it’s time to think laterally; out of it!
Add the green
Greenness keeps one on guard. From outer terrors as well as those within oneself. Associated with envy and hate, green emotions entail a desire to be better than others (owing to jealousy). It’s important to reappraise the desire for self-betterment to raise oneself for oneself, not with the intent to put others down instead. Green in life should motivate one for self-furtherance. Used appropriately it's the best color that allows one to rise higher.
Add the blue
The peace and calm of the sea and sky are reflections of serenity that ought to rule the mind. A relaxed mind thinks rationally, makes correct choices, and allows the brain to tide over irrational expectations. The blue of personality enables one to act judiciously and logically. The use of blue is imperative at all times to allow for composed decision making with careful consideration and deliberate choice.
Add the red
Excitement and passion are signified by ‘red’; and are driving forces to action. Feats that lack these are halfhearted and empty in purpose. Red is associated with life, creation and innovation. Life becomes more purposeful when work, relationships, education, children, friendships; are all seen through the shades of red. In excess, passion may drive itself to aggression; which ought to be kept at bay. With the right proportion of red in life, everything becomes exciting and seems purposeful.
Make your own rainbow
You don't need sunlight and the rain to make a rainbow. You can make your own! Life is not about what people offer to you to make it beautiful. It’s about what you do to make it picturesque for you and those around you. If you change the way you see it, you change everything.
