Competition if healthy is a promising driver. The brain is too accustomed to the impact of endorphins and dopamine that offer wellness. That’s why rewards are recompensing incentives. However, coveting a prize after hard work and dedication is the ingredient to success. Unlike cheating, which may be classified as a fancy, speedy and laidback trail to triumph. The world thrives on shortcuts while morality and honesty are nearing extinction. Rules broken by a cheater may be explicit or part of an unwritten code; in certain cases making cheating more of a subjective process with frequent justifications for committing them. Needless to say, cheating is immoral, unethical and inappropriate.

Falling out of love
Creation always warrants time and sweat
while destruction typically occurs in a jiffy. It takes 40 weeks for a
fertilized ovum to transmute into a well differentiated human being; however
life could end in moments if things went wrong. Annihilation is a rapid
phenomenon. It takes prodigious determination to survive and thrive. Relationships
are no different. They need consistent nurturance and replenishment of energies
to sustain themselves. Else they dwindle like the candle in the wind and are
burned out in no time…

Footloose
We are only too comfortable in our skin. We
don't want to adapt; we expect the world to mould itself around us; while we
continue to be the fixated rock of Gibraltar. Life is simulated to a pack of
instant food today; easy solutions, quick fixes, laid-back attitudes. The
inertia makes the unruly clay of personality hard, and disallows any movement from
the static. One becomes rigid, inflexible, stubborn and arrogant. What starts
as inertia, culminates in broken friendships, messy relationships and poor
social connects. All just because we were too stuck to our position and resisted change. Change that could allow growth. Change that could make all the difference. Change that could move mountains. But change that required some effort. Effort that we thought we were incapable of putting in...

Forgetfulness and Dementia
Memory
Memory is one of the most essential cognitive functions of the brain. Intellect, learning, communication, problem solving; all require an intact memory. For years together, our brain learns and retains new concepts and uses stored information to solve problems. And then one day, after many years, this ability declines and we begin to forget what we once knew. Dementia is a brain disorder in which one cannot remember what was learnt in the past and also, one is unable to retain new information. It is well understood as a deterioration of the memory, intellect, as well as personality; and manifests as a complete transformation of behavior, demeanor and thinking.

Personality disorders
Personality is the make-up of an individual in totality.
What we are, how we think, behave, walk, talk, act, react to situations;
everything is specific to our own constitution. That is why every individual is
different from the other, yet most people usually manage to adjust to, and
accept the personality traits of most others. However some behavior
characteristics are difficult to adjust to and seem outside of the normal
acceptable range. Although all ‘abnormal’ traits do seem to be exaggeration of
the mannerisms we see in normal people; they evidently stand out of the range
of regularity. These deviations constitute personality disorders.

Adjustment: It's not so easy
Life and change
Change is the only constant in life. And change generates resistance. Every passing day brings a change in some or the other dimension for every individual. Facing it is stressful enough, defying it is hardly a comfortable option. It is imperative to adjust to new situations and new people in today's fast moving world. If one is unable to make amends with one’s situation, it affects the psychological well being and can cause distress in the form of adjustment problems.
